Barack Obama — son of a Kenyan father — takes oath of office to become the most powerful man on earth.
Those many who feel as we do would like nothing more to join in the general merriment in Washington and throughout the great United States and celebrate the handsome and charming young man who is entering the White House. But the grim reality is that, even if surrounded by Jewish advisers, supporters of Israel, or even by ex-Israelis, the new President -- whether he is an illegal alien or "born in the USA" -- is charting a new course that will not be, as they say, good for the Jews.
One not-to-subtle indication-- this one not a slip -- came when Hussein Obama celebrated the inclusiveness of America: "We are a nation of Christians and Muslims, Jews and Hindus - and non-believers." He thus bracketed, perhaps for the first time by an American President, Christians and Muslims together, while leaving Jews in third place, bringing up the rear with the Hindus and the heathens. If I were a Buddhist, I'd feel hurt.
Barack Hussein Obama has no intention of being faithful to the Constitution that, if properly protected, would have prevented him from standing on that podium today. Rather, he wants to change the face of that nation and remake it in his own image, his own value, and his own faith. He and his minions are already working to rewrite it, to end Presidential terms limits, to end the requirement that the President be born in America..
